With this project I wanted to design the ideal backpack. It should offer a bit more space and features than a typical daypack, so you can easily stay away overnight. However it should be stylish.

Then wooden bar connects pack, shoulder straps and handle to better distribute the weight.

The wood elements underline the sustainable materials and are a nod to the historical beginnings of the backpack.

The second wooden bar acts as a satisfying handle and highlights that the backpack is meant to be handled more like a handbag when not on the back.

the backpack can be openend up clamshell like with full-length zippers.
